THE LITTLE FLOCK

Scripture Reading: Ezekiel 34.

Memory Verse: Ezekiel 34:31.

 

1. What term did the Savior use to designate His church? Luke 12:32 (first part).

2. What is the relationship of the Savior to this flock? Micah 4:8 (first part).

3. What has the Lord promised to this little flock? Luke 12:32 (last part); Micah 4:8 (last part).

4. What complaint did the Lord have against the ancient shepherds? Ezekiel 34:3,4.

5. As a result of this neglect, what happened to the flock? Ezekiel 34:5,6.

6. What was Elohim’s attitude toward the shepherds? Ezekiel 34:10.

WHOM SHALL WE OBEY

Scripture Reading: Acts 5:12-27.

NOTE: Let us understand that there was no assurance of deliverance, but they were satisfied to die in obeying the Lord.

PURITY

Scripture Reading: Ephesian 5:1-21

Memory Verse: Matthew 5:8

 

Note: Negative thoughts or desires, if acted upon, will lead to negative consequences. Purity of thought and action is compulsory in the life of a saint. We have been called to be holy people. Our thoughts and actions must be pure; otherwise we will not see Elohim.

 

1. What can the pure in heart expect? Matthew 5:8.

2. What does the seventh commandment say? What impure desire is a violation of the seventh commandment? Exodus 20:14, Matthew 5:27, 28.

3. How did Apostle Paul advise Timothy to live a life of purity? Is this advice useful to us as well? 2 Timothy 2:22.

4. When Paul wrote to the Ephesian brethren, what impurities did he warn them against? Should we take warning? Ephesians 5:4, 5, 11.

5. Failure to keep away from these impurities will lead to what? v 6b.

6. What was on the list of impurities that Paul mentioned in his letter to the Galatian brethren? Galatians 5:12-21.

7. What could the Galatians look forward to if they continued in the impurities just mentioned? v 21.

8. What is the antidote to the works of the flesh? v 22, 23.

14. What are the wicked and the unrighteous asked to turn away from? If those things were pure, would Elohim have offered to pardon the wicked and the unrighteous? Isaiah 55:7.

Note: Our thoughts (mind) and ways (actions), if they are pure, will not require any pardon from Elohim.

15. With what should our minds be occupied? Philippians 4:8.

Note: Purity of thought, purity of desire, purity of words, purity of action, are all essential, in fact mandatory, in our walk with Elohim. All of these are needed in order to let our light shine before men.

PERFECTION IN LIFE'S RACE

Memory Verse: Philippians 3:14.

1. What was the standard to which Noah attained in his day? Genesis 6:8,9.

2. What standard did Elohim demand of Abraham? Genesis 17:1.

3. What infers that Enoch had attained perfection? Genesis 5:22-25; Hebrews 11:5.

4. What does the New Testament say about Zacharias and Elizabeth? Luke 1:5,6.

5. On what condition did Elohim promise to establish Solomon upon the throne of King David? 1 Kings 9:3-5.

6. What is said of those who have attained perfection? Psalms 37:37.

7. What instructions were given to Israel for this attainment? Deuteronomy 18:9-13.

8. What was said of the nations of Canaan? Deuteronomy 18:14.

NOTE: The margin renders "perfect" as "upright" or "sincere". An upright man is one who is sincere and has no desire to do wrong.

9. Whom did our Lord Yahshua set forth as our example of perfection? Matthew 5:48.

10. What must the rich do in order to attain perfection? Matthew 19:16-21.

11. How did the wealthy man react to this demand? Matthew 19:22.

12. In a certain parable, how much are we required to sell in order to receive salvation? Matthew 13:45,46.

NOTE: Self is the only obstacle in the way of our goal of perfection. Wealth hinders the rich. What hinders the poor? Do we sell all? Some of us treasure malice, envy, wrath, and deceit in our souls and refuse to sell them out in order to buy the pearl of great price, which pearl is Messiah.

PRIDE

Scripture Reading: Daniel the 4th.

Memory Verse: Proverbs 16:18.

 

1. Of a long list of things that the Lord hates, what is the first thing mentioned? Proverbs 6:16-19.

2. Why will the wicked not seek after the Heavenly Father? Psalms 10:4.

3. What will a man's pride gain him? Proverbs 29:23.

4. What is mentioned in Proverbs 16:18, that goes before destruction?

5. What was the cause of Lucifer's downfall? Isaiah 14:12-15.

6. What high position did Haman once hold in the kingdom of Persia and Media? Esther 5:7-12.

7. In his anger against Mordecai what did he do? Esther 5:13,14.

8. How did Haman meet his death? Esther 7:10.

 

 

NOTE: This is a man who held a very high position in life but became exalted through pride. He met his bitter end, being hanged on the gallows that he had prepared for the man he hated.

9. What happened to King Nebuchadnezzar because of pride? Daniel 4:30-33.

10. What great lesson did this king learn the hard way? Daniel 4:34-37.

11. Where does pride come from? 1 John 2:16.

THE JUDGE OF ALL THE EARTH

Scripture Reading: Gen 18:16-33.

Memory Verse: Genesis 18:25.

 

1. In the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, what is said about the righteous being spared? Genesis 18:23-32.

2. What is said about these cities being examples of the future judgments? 2 Peter 2:6.

3. Should we fear or question the judgment of our Heavenly Father? Psalms 96:10; 1 John 4:16-18.

4. Shall we fear what men may do to us, or rather choose to fall into the hands of a merciful Heavenly Father? 2 Samuel 24:13,14.

 

NOTE: David from a boy up, did not live unto himself. The purpose of his life without fear of what the enemy could do, was to bless others. He had the evidence of the presence with him of that powerful intervening hand of deliverance. He slew the lion and the bear, (1 Samuel 17:34-36), and prevailed against the mighty giant of the Philistines, (verses 48, 49), — he feared not what men could do.

 

5. When the Father’s presence is with us, will things always go smoothly? Hebrews 12:6, 1 Peter 1:7.

6. What about Job who lost his possessions, and all his children? Job 1:20-22.

7. When his body was sorely afflicted, did he lose faith and complain? Job 7:20,21.

NOTE: It is well to mark here the humble life of the Saviour, and behold His poverty; His agony in Gethsemane; His reproach in the face of scoffers; a crown of sharp thorns on His head; His trial and condemnation before wicked men as a criminal and His agony of the cross. Yet from all this He arose victorious, triumphant, and was exalted before the very Majesty of heaven, to be crowned as King of kings and Lord of lords.

8. Did Job understand the reason of these afflictions, or try to justify himself? Job 31:3- 7, 24-27, & 29, 30.

9. Who was it that came to Job with comforting words, and uttered prophecies later to be fulfilled? Job 32:5-10

10. What were some of the comforting words? Job 33:22-29.

11. In his subjection and humility, what did Job finally say? Job 40:3,4; 42:1-6. Please read 1 Peter 4:12,13, & 5:6,7.

12. What is said about the man upon whom the Father brings chastisements? Psalm 94:2-15.

13. What command was given to the three men, --Job’s would be comforters? Job 42:7-9.

 

NOTE: The three men who came as Job’s friends had wrongly accused him during the period of his affliction. The wrath of Elohim was kindled against them. It was not withdrawn until Job prayed for them.

14. After Job endured with patience, and had prayed for his friends, how was he blessed? Verses 10-16.

15. What is said about mercy and judgment in James 2:12,13?

16. The child Samuel was weaned, and his mother brought him before Eli the high priest. What prophetic words did she speak concerning the Judge of the earth? 1 Samuel 2:10.

17. Did King David also long for this time? Psalms 94:1-3; 96:10-13.

18. What is the conclusion of all that is expected of mankind and does the Great Judge know every secret thing? Ecc. 12:13,14.

 

 

THE TEN VIRGINS

Scripture Reading: Matt 25:1-13.

Memory Verse: 1 Cor 16:13.

 

1. To what did the Saviour liken the Kingdom of Heaven? Matthew 25:1.

2. What characteristic did the ten virgins have in common? Matthew 25:1 (last part).

3. How did the foolish ones demonstrate their folly? Matthew 5:3.

4. How did the wise ones display their wisdom? Matthew 25:4.

 

NOTE: We note that all ten were virgins. This suggests purity of character. They represent the Church waiting for the Messiah. All ten virgins also had oil burning lamps.

 

5. Spiritually speaking, what does the lamp represent? Psalm 119:105.

6. Since the Word is the lamp, what does the oil symbolically represent? Revelation 3:18 (last part).

7. What anoints in this dispensation? Acts 10:38; 1 John 2:27.

 

NOTE: From this we see that the oil is the Spirit. These virgins were all anointed by the Spirit, but five did not have enough of the anointing. We read that the Apostles were filled (or anointed) and refilled with the Spirit and that is how the extra oil is maintained. Those who receive the Spirit and then do not continue to “walk in the Spirit” will be among the foolish virgins, for their lamps will go out.

8. What took place while the Bridegroom tarried? Matthew 25:5.

9. What was heard at midnight? Matthew 25:6.

10. What did they arise to do? Matthew 25:7.

11. What did the foolish ones ask for? Matthew 25:8.

12. What answer and advice did they get? Matthew 25:9.

NOTE: It is not possible to borrow faith and spiritual strength from someone else. You must get it from it’s source. This parable especially stresses the importance of being prepared at all times and the danger of being lax in our spiritual walk. (See Matthew 25:10-13.)

THE OBJECT AND PURPOSE OF LIFE

Scripture Reading: John 15:1-20.

Memory Verse: John 15:8.

1. What actuated the Father to give His son? And did Yahshua voluntarily give Himself? 1 John 4:10,16; John 10:10,11,15, 17.

2. Did Messiah have to give up comforts and riches in order to carry out His work? 2 Corinthians 8:9; Luke 9:58.

3. Did the world appreciate Messiah and His work, even though He made so great a sacrifice? John 1:11.

4. Can there be greater love manifest than that which Messiah demonstrated for us? John 15:13; Romans 5:7, 8.

5. What reward encouraged our Lord to endure the cross? Hebrews 12:12; Isaiah 53:11,12.

6. To whom did Yahshua  commit His work? Mark 13:34.

NOTE: His disciples were his followers, and so it is today. We are to follow in His steps, and make full proof of our stewardship. By Divine Power we can be conquerors of ourselves, and overcome this world, leading consecrated lives that others will follow. We will find joy in giving of our means and our time in the same work for which He lived and died.

​7. What mind should be in us? Philippians 2:4,5.

8. What is the underlying principle that actuates a true missionary worker? 2 Corinthians 5:14,15.

9. Will any amount of labor, suffering or sacrifice profit us anything without this love? 1 Corinthians 13:1-3.

10. May we expect any better treatment from the world than our Saviour received ? John 15:18-20.

11. Is suffering for Messiah’s sake a part of the Messianic’s earthly heritage? Philippians 1:29.

FAITH IN ELOHIM 'S WORD

Scripture Reading: Romans 4.

Memory Verse: Romans 4:3.

1. Name four things faith accomplished in Hebrews 11:2-5.

2. What was Noah able to accomplish by faith? What spiritual inheritance was his by this act? Hebrews 11:7.

NOTE: To us this act may seem simple. But the people of that day had never seen rain before and could not naturally believe the theory of a rain that would destroy the world. Noah believed Elohim irrespective of what the practical knowledge was. So should we exercise this same faith in our Creator, trusting fully in Him, through all our present experiences of this life?

3. How does Abraham's faith effect the nations of the world? Romans 4:11-13.

4. Why was Abraham's experience written? Romans 4:23,24.

5. What promise of Elohim is now fulfilled in this connection? Genesis 17:5-8.

6. How does the Apostle Paul interpret the term "seed"? Galatians 3:16.

7. Like Abraham, how should we accept the promises of Elohim ? Romans 4:21; Hebrews 11:6.

8. On what must saving faith be based? Romans 10:17.

9. If we hear the Word and do not do it, to what are we likened? James 1:22-24.

10. What is the secret in receiving the blessings of Elohim , that we all should desire in our work on this earth? James 1:25.

FORGIVING ONE ANOTHER

Scripture Reading: Matthew 18

Memory Verse: Matthew 6:15.

 

1. What is necessary for us to do in order to receive forgiveness of our sins? Mark 11:25.

2. Will Elohim pardon those who do not forgive their fellow men? Matthew 6:15; Mark 11:26; Matthew 18:35.

 

NOTE: Elohim is not satisfied with lip service or mere formality. We must forgive from the heart, and when we do then we will also forget, and we will cease to dwell upon the sins which have been forgiven. Some when pretending to forgive say: I can forgive but I cannot forget them, they hold a grudge.

3. In what condition must our heart  be in order that we might receive forgiveness? Matthew 6:12.

4. Did Elohim forbid grudging? Leviticus 19:18.

5. What does the New Testament say about grudging? James 5:9; Matthew 6:12-14.

 

NOTE: Jealousy, a predominate sin of the age now even as it was in the time when Joseph’s brethren became jealous of him because of his parents' love and extra kindness, and also because Elohim favored him and gave him dreams about things which would soon come to pass, therefore they mistreated him and sold him unto strangers for a slave.

 

6. How did Joseph the man of Elohim forgive his brethren? Genesis 45:15.

7. In dealing with the erring, what feelings should activate us? Matthew 18:33.

8. What may those expect who fail to show mercy to others? James 2:13.

9. What happened to the servant who owed a large sum? Matthew 18:23-27.

10. Later when someone came who owed this same man a mere trifle, what mercy did he receive? Matthew18:28-30.

11. What treatment did the unmerciful servant receive from his Lord? Matthew 18:32-35.

12. For whom has all of this been recorded? 1 Corinthians 10:11; Romans 15:14; 2 Timothy 3:16,17.

THE LAMB OF ELOHIM – MASTER AND LORD

Scripture Reading: John 1:29-41.

Memory Verse: John 13:13.

 

1. For what important purpose was Messiah Yahshua  sent into the world? Mark 10:45.

2. Who alone was qualified as a substitute for every sinner? John 1:29.

3. What eternal truth did Yahshua  express in behalf of every child? Matthew 18:14.

4. What did Yahshua  say of Himself? John 13:13.

5. What comes to every one of us who has lived in this present world? John 1:9.

6. Before Messiah ascended what did He command His followers to do? Matthew 28:19.

7. What will His followers teach? Matthew 28:20.

NOTE: The Bible alone is to be our guide and rule in all that we teach. True Messianics will be careful not to add anything to their belief which is not found to have been the teaching or practice of Yahshua . Once this truth is established, our way becomes clear.

8. How will we walk if we fully believe and put our trust in Yahshua ? 1 John 2:6.

9. How will our belief in Yahshua  be known? Romans 6:17,18; Ephesians 2:10.

10. What proof does James use to show that "faith" brings forth "works"? James 2:18, 20-23.

THE RESURRECTION

Scripture Reading: 1 Cor. 15:1-58

Memory Verse: 1 Cor. 15:22.

 

1. Will every one be resurrected? John 5:28, 29.

2. When will the righteous be resurrected unto life eternal? 1 Cor. 15:22, 23; Rev. 20:41 Thess. 4:16.

3. What will happen to the saints who will be alive at the appearing of Yahshua ? 1 Thess. 4:17; 1 Cor. 15:51-53.

4. Where will the resurrected saints dwell and what will be their work during the millennium? Rev. 5:10; Dan. 7:27; Luke 19:15-19.


NOTE: What a wonderful blessing awaits all the faithful in Messiah Yahshua ! All who have died in the Lord will be made alive at the appearing of Yahshua, while the living saints will be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and they will live and reign with Messiah a thousand years. During this time Yahshua  will be reigning upon the throne of David. Luke 1:32; Isa. 24:23.

5. Where will the wicked dead be during this millennial age? Rev. 20:5, 6.

6. Will the wicked ever be resurrected? John 5:28, 29.

7. For what purpose will the wicked be brought forth? Job 21:30; 2 Pet. 2:9.

8. When the wicked are resurrected, where will they have to appear? Rev. 20:11, 12.

 

NOTE: The judgment is for the wicked, since the righteous went to judgment when they confessed their sins, were born again and became obedient unto the words of the Lord; thus they passed from death unto life and became members of the family of Elohim . 1 Tim. 5:24; St. John 5:24.

9. What will the final end of the wicked be? Rev. 20:13.15; 21:8.

THE LAW AND THE GOSPEL

Scripture Reading: James 2:1-16.

Memory Verses: James 2:23, 24.

 

1. For man’s good, in the very beginning, what did Elohim provide? Genesis 2:16,17.

 NOTE: There can be no perfect government whether man made or theocratic. Every good government provides good laws for the benefit of its citizens. Those who object to the Law of Elohim show a tendency to have lost their love to man and their respect to Elohim .

2. What question did one of the scribes ask Yahshua ? Mark 12:28.

3. How did Yahshua  reply? Mark 12:29-31.

4. Where do we find a more comprehensive outline of these truths? Exodus 20:1-17

5. How did Paul bring out the truth? Romans 13:8-10,14.

6. What consideration and rule were applied to the unlearned Gentile world? Romans 2:14-16.

7. What is the breaking of the law said to be? Romans 13:2.

 

NOTE: The law does not make sinners. The speedometer on a car does not cause one to drive in excess of the speed limit. It merely indicates when one goes beyond good judgment or fixed laws.

 

8. How many souls are saved by the law alone? Romans 8:3.

9. While the law detects sin, what does the gospel accomplish? Romans 1:16.

10. Having received the gospel, what is our new relationship to Elohim ? John 1:12.

11. On what condition is salvation granted? Hebrews 5:7-9.

12. How does James refer to the Ten Commandments? James 2:8-12.

13. What ceremony unites the law and the gospel? Romans 6:4.

A MESSAGE TO THE MOUNTAINS OF ISRAEL

Scripture Reading: Ezekiel 36.

Memory Verse: Ezekiel 36:24.

 

1. To whom is this message especially sent? Ezekiel 36:1.

2. What did the enemies say about the mountains of Israel? Ezek 36: 2.

3. Is this message for our time following the period of desolation, or is it for a time in the past? Ezekiel 36:3.

4. What is this message to the mountains of Israel? Ezekiel 36:4-7.

5. What are the promises to the mountains of Israel for this time, and the future? What people are to possess them? Ezekiel 36:8-10.

6. What is said about Israel’s treatment at this time? Will it be the same as before or better? Ezekiel 36:11.

7. Will this land ever be desolate again? Ezekiel 36:12.

8. What is said about Israel profaning the land, and about their punishment for their sins? Ezekiel 36:17-20.

9. Did the Father have pity on Israel, and are the present blessings in re-gathering the Jews to Israel, because of their own righteousness? Ezekiel 36:22,32.

10. Will there be a remnant of these people set apart for a sacred use (sanctified), and how was this work to be commenced with them? Ezekiel 36:23,24; Romans 9:27,28.

11. What does the Father say about the ownership of the land where they are now being gathered? Does it belong to Israel? Ezekiel 36:24.

12. Will their hearts be changed from stony hearts to hearts of flesh before they are gathered or afterwards? Ezekiel 36:24-27.

13. What about blessings upon the land in making it fruitful, and will this have an effect upon the people in remembering their sins, and evil doings? Ezekiel 36:30, 31.

14. In the day when they are being cleansed of their iniquities, through a reception of the Spirit, will they be building the waste places and old cities, and will the country resemble the garden of Eden? Ezekiel 36:33-36.

15. What event does the apostle Paul associate with the receiving of Israel again? Romans 11:15-21.

THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE

Scripture Reading: Luke 6:17-40.

Memory Verse: Luke 6:19.

 

1. From what cities were the people gathered together? Luke 6:17.

 

NOTE: They had come from a distance of about 50 miles or more, which was a great effort since in those days walking was the main way of travel.

2. What is said about all the sick in that great multitude? Luke 6:18,19.

3. In what way did the Savior prepare Himself for this great gathering? Luke 6:12.

4. After spending the night in prayer, with what was His body charged? Luke 6:19.

5. Was the apostle Paul also possessed with this magnetic, healing virtue? Acts 19:11,12.

6. Keeping in mind that these wonderful miracles are written for us, what is commanded of us? 1 Corinthians 11:1.

7. In order for us to perform all of these things today, what becomes necessary? 1Corinthians 1:5; 2 Corinthians 8:7.

8. We being enriched by Him in knowledge and speech, what will be the result? 2Corinthians 8:7-14.

 

NOTE: It is Satan who misleads people in their conversation, and causes them to carry a reproach about someone. When you tell anything that is not true about a person, you are guilty of reproach (Psalms 15:1-3.) When enriched by the master, seeking for the Holy Spirit, and separating ourselves from evil talkers, we can then be partakers of the divine nature and be filled with heavenly virtue.

 

9. What attitude are we to have towards our enemies and those that hate us and curse us? Luke 6:27,28.

 

10. If someone literally strikes you or smites you with threats or lies about you, should you do the same back to them? Luke 6:29-31.

11. In what way will the true servant be different from the unrighteous people of the world? Luke 6:32-34.

12. What promise is given to those who have the right thoughts and motives toward their enemies? Luke 6:35.

13. What about giving to the needy, and giving to further the gospel? Luke 6:36-38.

ADMONITIONS FOR BELIEVERS

Scripture Reading: John 12.

Memory Verse: John 12:35.

 

1. Did the disciples understand most of those things told them by the Saviour? John 12:24-31.

2. What must we watch for in these last days? 1 Peter 5:8.

3. Why did Paul say he was jealous over his followers? 2 Corinthians 11:1-3.

4. What caused Ananias to sin? Acts 5:3.

THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT

NOTE: It is one’s own lack of the true spirit of forbearance and love that leads one to emphasize faults in others, and makes a mountain out of a mole hill. Censure and reproach never did reclaim a wayward soul, but many are driven further away by such. A tender spirit of gentle rebuke given personally and privately manifested by loving compassion for the erring one, is what wins a person back to the narrow path.

3. What is emphasized here regarding the two roads of life, and is it manifest today? Matthew 7:13,14.

4. Will there be false prophets and false teachers in the last days? Matthew 7:15; Matthew 24:24.

5. How are we to detect them? Isaiah 8:20; Matthew 7:16,17.

6. False preachers confess a belief in the Saviour, and may perform good works in His Name. Matthew 7:22.

REDEMPTION THROUGH YIELDING TO THE SPIRIT

NOTE: If a person earnestly seeks righteousness then one must put on Messiah’s righteousness, then one opens the door and lets Messiah come in. Read Revelation 3:20.

THE SAVIOUR, A PERSONAL WORKER

5. What illustration is used to show the willingness of the Father to give us help in time of need? Luke 11:11-13.

NOTE: When the Saviour was on His way to Galilee, about 100 miles north of Yerusalem, He stopped at Samaria in a beautiful valley running eastward to the Jordan River. Here He found Jacob’s Well, where He being weary sat down to rest. He was likely faint and thirsty after the long journey.

 

7. How did the Saviour open conversation with the woman at the well? Verse 7.

8. How did the woman respond, and what seemed to be most on her heart? John 4:8,9.

9. How did Yahshua  turn the conversation to meet her spiritual needs? John 4:10-14.

NOTE: This is an excellent example for us to follow. On all occasions we should turn our conversation to the spiritual help and eternal needs of those whom we meet.

10. How did Yahshua  prove to this woman that He was different from the ordinary person? John 4:16-18.

NOTE: Although we are not able to tell people about their own lives as Messiah was, we can tell them about conditions in the world. Conditions that miraculously fulfill the words of the ancient prophets.

12. What did the woman say about the Messiah? What announcement did Yahshua  make? John 4:25,26.

CALLED FOR A SPECIAL WORK FOR A SPECIAL TIME

2. What two signs are given of this special time of preparation? Nahum 2: 3.

3. There have been three world wide messages sent forth since the beginning of the gospel age. What and when was the first message? Revelation 14: 6.

 

NOTE: This was the message sent forth in the days of the apostles, to a world of idolatrous people to destroy their idols and worship Him that made the heavens and the earth. It was also the hour of judgment upon the Jewish nation (Luke 21: 24), and upon the prince of this world.

4. What is said about the time of judgment that was a part of the first worldwide message? 1 Peter 4:17; John 16: 7-11; 12: 31.

5. What was the nature of the second angel’s message? Revelation 14: 8.

6. What is the nature of the Third Angel’s Message, and against whom is it specially directed? Revelation 14:9,10.

7. What is the next event that follows this message? Is there still another to be given, or is it time then for the King to come and reign? Revelation 14:14-16.

NOTE: The message identifying the beast, and giving this warning, is “meat in due season”. It is this message that is due in the world at this special time.

THE CALLING OF SERVANTS AND DISTRIBUTION OF GIFTS

NOTE: Messiah is still calling servants to labor for Him.

2. What is said about the distribution of talents, or gifts for increasing the fold, and soul winning? Matthew 25:15.

3. What did the servants do who had received the greatest number of talents? Matthew 25:16,17.

4. What did the servant do who received the one talent? Matthew 25:18.

5. What happens after a long time? Matthew 25:19.

6. What is the reward given to those who make proper use of the talents given, and increasing them for soul winning? Matthew 25: 20-23.

7. What is the reward given to the servant who buries his talent in the earth, not having any increase in his life for the glory of Elohim ? Matthew 25:24-28.

8. Instead of entering into the kingdom, what will be said to the unprofitable servant who buries his entire life in this old world? Matthew 25:29-30.

 

NOTE: This is what millions are doing today, living entirely for themselves, and buried deeply in all of the crumbling affairs of earth. They seek after money, property, and pleasure, worshipping the dollar only and what it can give to them. A true Israelite is not so. He is developing his talents and living his life for the increase of the kingdom, paying tithe and offerings, as well as living in loving obedience, and separating himself from the world.

9. In following our Saviour’s steps whose business will concern us the most? Luke 2:49.

10. Is there not something of far greater value than food for the body and raiment, and what must remain first and foremost in every heart? Luke 12:23-32.

11. What will always happen to the spiritual life of the unfruitful person who buries his talents, failing to bear fruit? Luke 13:6-9.

12. What always happens to the one who lays up in store for himself, burying his talent in the earth, and is not rich toward Elohim? Luke 12:16-21.

NOTE: The angels are summoned to our help when we pray. Prayer is that connecting link which gives us a holy charge of divine power we must have to live the overcoming life.

THE ROYAL SEED THE LORD HAS BLESSED

NOTE: This prophecy was tragically fulfilled after the first re-gathering of Israel, and the building of the second Temple. It was this destruction our Saviour also announced. The Roman general Titus in the year 70 A.D. besieged Yerusalem.

Fahamu: Huyu ni mtu ambaye alishikilia nafasi ya juu sana katika maisha yake lakini akawa wa kuinuliwa kupitia kiburi chake. Alikutana na hatima yake chungu, kuwa alinyongwa juu ya mti aliomwekea tayari mtu aliyemchukia.

HAKIMU WA DUNIA YOTE

Somo la Maandiko:- Mwanzo 18:16-33.

Aya ya Kukariri: Mwanzo 18:25.

 

1. Katika uharibifu wa Sodoma na Gomora, ni nini imesemwa kuhusu wenye haki kuepuka hukumu? Mwanzo 18:23-32.

2. Nini imesemwa kuhusu miji hiyo kuwa mifano ya hukumu ya baadaye? 2 Petro 2:6.

3. Tunafaa kuhofu au tunafaa kuuliza swali juu ya hukumu ya Baba yetu wa Mbinguni? Zaburi 96:10; 1 Yohana 4:16-18.

4. Tunafaa kuogopa vile watu wanaweza kutufanyia, au badala yake kuchagua kuanguka katika mikono ya Baba wa mbinguni mwenye huruma? 2 Samweli 24:13, 14.

FAHAMU:-  Daudi kutoka akiwa kijana, hakuishi kwa ajili yake mwenyewe. Madhumuni ya maisha yake bila hofu ya vile adui angeweza kufanya, ilikuwa ni kuwabariki wengine. Yeye alikuwa na ushahidi wa uwepo wake na mkono wenye nguvu za kuleta ukombozi. Akamwua simba na dubu, (1 Samweli 17:34-36), na akawa na nguvu juu ya jitu kubwa la Wafilisti, (mistari 48,49), — hakuogopa kile watu wangefanya.

 

5. Wakati uwepo wa Baba hu pamoja nasi, mambo yataenda vizuri kila wakati? Waebrania12:6, 1 Petro 1:7.

6. Vipi kuhusu Ayubu aliyepoteza mali yake, na watoto wake wote? Ayubu 1:20-22.

7. Wakati mwili wake uliteseka sana, alipoteza imani na kulalamika? Ayubu 7:20, 21.

FAHAMU:-  Ni vizuri kutambua maisha ya unyenyekevu wa Mwokozi, na tazama umaskini wake; Mateso yake katika Gethsemani; Kuaibishwa mbele ya waliomdhihaki; taji la miiba mikali juu ya kichwa chake; Kesi na hukumu mbele ya watu waovu kama mhalifu na uchungu wake juu ya msalaba. Lakini kwa hayo yote aliibuka kuwa mshindi, na kuinuliwa mbele ya mkuu sana wa mbinguni, na kupewa taji kama mfalme wa wafalme na Bwana wa mabwana.

8. Ayubu alielewa sababu ya mateso haya, au alijaribu kujifanya kuwa mwenye haki? Ayubu 31: 3-7, 24-27, na 29, 30.

9. Nani ambaye alikuja kwa Ayubu na maneno ya faraja, na kutamka unabii ambao ulitimizwa baadaye? Ayubu 32: 5-10

FAHAMU:-  Watu hao watatu ambao walikuja kama marafiki wa Ayubu walimhukumu visivyo katika kipindi cha dhiki yake. Ghadhabu ya Elohim ikawaka juu yao. Gadhabu haikuondolewa hadi Ayubu alipoomba kwa ajili yao.

14. Baada Ayubu kuvumilia kwa subira, na kuomba kwa ajili ya marafiki zake, alibarikiwa vipi? Aya ya 10-16.

15. Ni nini imesemwa kuhusu rehema na hukumu katika Yakobo 2:12, 13?

16. Mtoto Samweli alipoachishwa maziwa, na mama yake kumpeleka mbele ya Eli kuhani. Ni maneno gani ya kinabii aliyoyazungumza kuhusu hakimu wa dunia? 1 Samweli 2:10.

Aya ya Kukariri: 1 Wakor 16:13.

 

1. Mwokozi alifananisha ufalme wa Mbinguni na nini? Mathayo 25: 1.

2. Wanawali kumi walikuwa na tabia zipi ambazo zilikuwa sawa? Mathayo 25: 1 (sehemu ya mwisho).

3. Jinsi gani wale wapumbavu walionyesha upumbavu wao? Mathayo 5:3.

4. Jinsi gani wale wenye busara walionyesha hekima yao? Mathayo 25: 4.

 

FAHAMU:-  Tunaona ya kwamba wote kumi walikuwa wanawali. Hii inaashiria usafi wa tabia. Wanawakilisha Kanisa ambalo linamsubiri Masihi. Wanawali wote kumi pia walikuwa na taa zinawaka.

5.Tukizungumza kwa lugha ya kiroho, taa inawakilisha nini? Zaburi 119:105.

6. Kwa kuwa neno ni taa, mafuta yanawakilisha nini? Ufunuo 3:18 (sehemu ya mwisho).

7. Ni nini hututia mafuta katika wakati huu? Matendo ya Mitume 10:38; 1 Yohana 2:27.

FAHAMU:-  Kutokana na hili tunaona kwamba mafuta ni Roho. Wanawali hawa wote walikuwa wamepokea upako wa Roho Mtakatifu, lakini watano hawakuwa na upako wa kutosha. Tunasoma kwamba Mitume walikuwa wamejazwa (au wametiwa mafuta) na wamejazwa na Roho na hivyo ndivyo mafuta ya ziada huhifadhiwa. Wale ambao hupokea Roho na wanakosa kuendelea “kuenenda katika Roho” watakuwa kati ya wanawali wapumbavu, kwa sababu taa zao zitazimika.

8. Nini ilitendeka wakati Bwana arusi alipokawia? Mathayo 25: 5.

9. Ni nini ilisikika usiku wa manane? Mathayo 25: 6.

10. Waliamka kufanya nini? Mathayo 25: 7.

11. Wale wapumbavu waliazima nini? Mathayo 25: 8.

12. Walipata jibu lipi na ushauri upi? Mathayo 25: 9.

FAHAMU:-  Haiwezekani kuazima imani na nguvu za kiroho kutoka kwa mtu mwingine. Lazima upate kutoka kwa Bwana. Mfano huu hasa unasisitiza umuhimu wa kuwa tayari katika nyakati zote na hatari ya kuzembea katika mienendo yetu ya kiroho. (Soma Mathayo 25: 10-13.)

LENGO NA MADHUMUNI YA MAISHA

Somo la Maandiko:- Yohana 15:1-20

Aya ya Kukariri: Yohana 15:8

1. Ni nini ilimfanya Baba kutoa mwana wake. Na Yahshua alijitoa kwa hiari yake mwenyewe? 1 Yohana 4:10, 16; Yohana 10:10, 11, 15, 17.

2. Je, Masihi aliachana na starehe na utajiri ili afanye kazi yake? 2 Wakorintho 8:9; Luka 9:58.

3. Ulimwengu ulithamini kazi ya Masihi, hata kama alijitolea kwa yote? Yohana 1:11.

4. Kunaweza kuwa na upendo mkuu zaidi kuliko ule upendo ambao Masihi alionyesha kwa ajili yetu? Yohana 15:13; Warumi 5:7, 8.

5. Ni tuzo gani ambalo lilimtia moyo Bwana wetu kuvumilia mateso msalabani? Waebrania 12:12; Isaya 53:11, 12

6. Ni kwa nani Yahshua aliachia kazi yake? Marko 13:34.

 

FAHAMU:-  Wanafunzi wake walikuwa wafuasi wake, na hivyo ndivyo ilivyo leo. Inafaa kuzifuata nyayo zake, na kufanya uthibitisho kamili wa utumishi wetu. Kwa uweza wa Roho tunaweza kuwa washindi wenyewe, na kushinda ulimwengu huu, kuishi maisha ya utauwa ambayo wengine watafuata. Tutapata furaha katika utoaji wa uwezo wetu na muda wetu katika kazi hiyo ambayo aliishi kufanya hadi kufariki.

7. Ni nia ipi inafaa kuwa ndani yetu? Wafilipi 2:4, 5.

8. Ni kanuni ipi ya msingi ambayo itafanya mfanyakazi wa kweli wa injili kupiga hatua? 2 Wakorintho 5:14, 15.

9. Kiasi chochote cha kazi, mateso au kujitolea yatatufaidi chochote bila upendo huu? 1 Wakorintho 13:1-3.

10. Tunatarajia kutendewa bora kutoka ulimwenguni kuliko jinsi Mwokozi wetu alivyopokelewa? Yoh 15:18-20.

11. Je, mateso kwa ajili ya Masihi ni sehemu ya kuishi duniani kwa waumini? Wafilipi 1:29.

 IMANI KATIKA NENO LA ELOHIM

Somo La Maandiko: Warumi 4

Aya ya Kukariri: Warumi 4:3

1. Taja mambo manne imani ilitimiza katika Waebrania 11:2-5.

2. Ni nini Nuhu aliweza kutimiza kwa imani? Urithi gani wa kiroho ulikuwa wake kutokana na tendo hili? Waebrania 11:7.

Fahamu: Kwetu tendo hili laweza kuonekana rahisi. Lakini watu wa siku hizo hawakuwahi kuona mvua mbeleeni na kwa kawaida hawangeweza kuamini jambo hili la mvua kwamba itaiharibu dunia. Nuhu alimwamini Elohim bila ya kujali jinsi jambo hilo lingewezekana. Kwa hivyo lazima tuwe na imani sawa kama hiyo kwa Muumba wetu, kumwamini kikamilifu, kupitia uzoefu wetu wote wa maisha yetu ya sasa.

 3. Jinsi gani imani ya Abrahamu ina manufaa kwa mataifa ya ulimwengu? Warumi 4:11-13.

4. Kwa nini tajiriba ya Ibrahimu iliandikwa? Warumi 4:23, 24.

5. Ni ahadi gani ya Elohim inatimizwa sasa katika tendo hili? Mwanzo 17:5-8.

6. Jinsi gani Mtume Paulo anatafsiri neno "uzao"? Wagalatia 3:16.

7. Kama Ibrahimu, jinsi gani tutakubali ahadi za Elohim? Warumi 4:21; Waebrania 11:6.

8. Ni kwa msingi gani imani ambayo itaokoa lazima ijengwe? Warumi 10:17.

9. Ikiwa tutasikia neno na kukosa kutenda kulingana na hilo neno, tumefananishwa na nini? Yakobo 1:22-24.

10. Ni siri gani katika kupokea baraka za Elohim, ambayo sisi sote tunapaswa kutamani katika utendaji wa kazi yetu katika dunia hii? Yakobo 1:25.

KUSAMEHEANA MTU NA MWENZIWE

Somo La Maandiko: Matthew 18.

Aya ya Kukariri: Mathayo 6:15.

 

1. Ni jambo lipi la muhimu twafaa kufanya ili kupokea msamaha wa dhambi zetu? Marko 11:25.

2. Je, Elohim atawasamehe wale huwa hawasamehi wenzao? Mathayo 6:15; Marko11:26; Mathayo 18:35.

 

Fahamu: Elohim huwa haridhishwi na huduma ya mdomo kwa kujirasmisha tu. Ni lazima tusameheane kutoka kwa moyo, na tunapofanya hivyo tutasahau pia, na tutakoma kukaa katika dhambi ambayo imesameheanwa. Wengine wanapodai wamesameheana husema: naweza kusamehe lakini siwezi kusahau, wanaweka kinyongo.

3. Ni katika hali gani lazima mioyo yetu inafaa kuwa ili kwamba tupate kupokea msamaha? Mathayo 6:12.

4. Je, Elohim alikataza watu kuwa na kinyongo? Mambo ya Walawi 19:18.

5. Je, agano jipya inasema nini kuhusu kuwa na kinyongo? Yakobo 5:9; Mathayo 6:12-14

 

Fahamu: Wivu, ni dhambi ambayo imetangulia kutawala kizazi hiki kama ilivyokuwa nyakati za ndugu wa Yusufu, walivyoingiwa na wivu kwa sababu wazazi wake walikuwa wanupendo kwake na ukarimu wa ziada, na pia kwa sababu Elohim alimneemesha na akawa anampa ndoto kuhusu mambo ambayo yangetendeka karibuni, kwa havyo walimtesa na kumuuza kwa wageni akafanyike mtumwa.

 

6. Jinsi gani Yusufu mtu wa Elohim aliwasamehe ndugu zake? Mwanzo 45:15.

7. Katika kukabiliana na kukosea, ni hisia gani zinafaa kutuamilisha? Mathayo 18:33.

8. Wale ambao watashindwa kuonyesha rehema kwa wengine watatarajia nini? Yakobo 2:13.

9. Ni nini ilitokea kwa mtumishi ambaye alikuwa na deni kubwa? Mathayo 18:23-27.

10. Baadaye, wakati mtu mmoja alikuja ambaye alidaiwa na huyu mtu deni ndogo tu, alipokea rehema gani? Mathayo 18:28-30.

11.Huyu mtumishi ambaye hakuonyesha rehema alipokea nini kutoka kwa Bwana wake? Mathayo18:32-35.

2. Ni nani pekee alihitimu kuwa mbadala wa kila mwenye dhambi? Yohana 1:29.

3. Ni ukweli upi wa milele Yahshua alieleza kwa niaba ya kila mtoto? Mathayo 18:14.

4. Yahshua alisema nini kuhusu yeye mwenyewe? Yohana 13:13.

5. Ni nini huja kwa kila mmoja wetu ambaye anaishi katika dunia hii ya sasa? Yohana1:9.

6. Kabla ya Masihi kupaa, aliwamuru wafuasi wake wafanye nini? Mathayo 28: 19.

7. Wafuasi wake watafundisha nini? Mathayo 28: 20.

Fahamu: Biblia pekee inafaa iwe mwongozo wetu na sheria katika lolote tunalofundisha. WaMasihi wa kweli watakuwa makini wasiongeza chochote katika  imani yao ambacho hakipatikani katika mafundisho au matendo ya Yahshua. Wakati ukweli huu huimarishwa, njia yetu itakuwa dhahiri.

8. Jinsi gani tutakavyoenda kama tutaamini kikamilifu na kuweka imani yetu katika Yahshua? 1 Yohana 2:6.

9. Jinsi gani imani yetu katika Yahshua itajulikana? Warumi 6:17, 18; Waefeso 2:10.

3. Ni nini kitatokea kwa Watakatifu ambao watakuwa hai wakati Yahshua atafunuliwa? 1 Wathesonike 4:17; 1 Wakorintho 15:51-53.

4. Ni wapi ambapo Watakatifu waliofufuka watakaa na kazi yao itakuwa ipi wakati wa miaka elfu moja? Ufunuo 5:10; Danieli 7:27; Luka 19:15-19.

 

Fahamu: Ni Baraka ya ajabu inawangoja waumini wote katika Masihi Yahshua! Watu wote ambao wamekufa katika Bwana watafufuliwa wakati wakufunuliwa kwake Yahshua, nao Watakatifu walio hai watabadilishwa miili gafla, kwa kufumba na kufumbua, na wataishi na kutawala pamoja na Masihi miaka elfu. Wakati huu Yahshua atakuwa akitawala katika kiti cha enzi cha Daudi. Luka 1:32; Isaya 24:23.

5. Walio wafu waovu watakuwa wapi katika wakati huu wa miaka elfu? Ufunuo 20:5, 6.

6. Wale waovu watawahi kufufuliwa? Yohana 5:28, 29.

7. Ni kwa madhumuni gani wale waovu wataletwa mbele? Ayubu 21:30; 2 Petero 2:9.

8. Wakati waovu watafufuliwa, ni wapi ambapo ni lazima watafika? Ufunuo 20:11, 12.

 

Fahamu: Hukumu ni kwa ajili ya waovu, kwani wenye haki walienda hukumuni wakati walikiri dhambi zao, walizaliwa tena na wakawa watiifu kwa maneno ya Bwana; kwa hivyo walipita kutoka mautini kuingia uzimani na wakawa washiriki wa familia ya Elohim. 1 Timotheo 5:24; Yohana Mtakatifu 5:24.

 SHERIA NA HABARI NJEMA

Somo La Maandiko: Yakobo 2:1-16

Aya ya Kukariri: Yakobo 2:23, 24.

 

1. Kwa ajili ya jambo jema kwa mtu, katika mwanzo, Elohim alimpa nini? Mwanzo 2:16, 17.

Fahamu: Hakuwezi kuwa na serikali kamilifu iwe imetengenezwa na watu au ya kidini. Kila serikali nzuri hutoa sheria kwa manufaa ya wananchi wake. Wale wanaopinga sheria ya Elohim huonyesha ya kwamba hawana upendo kwa mtu na heshima kwa Elohim.

2. Ni swali lipi mmoja wa waandishi aliuliza Yahshua? Marko 12:28.

3. Jinsi gani Yahshua alimjibu? Marko 12:29-31.

4. Ni wapi ambapo tunapata muhtasari wa kina zaidi wa kweli hizi? Kutoka 20:1-17

5. Jinsi gani Paulo aliuonyesha ukweli? Warumi 13:8-10, 14.

6. Ni nini ilizingatiwa na ni sheria gani iliyotumika kwa ulimwengu wa mataifa yasiyokuwa na sheria?Warumi 2:14-16.

7. Je, kuvunja sheria kumesemekana kuwa nini? Warumi 13:2.

 

Fahamu: Sheria haifanyi watu wenye dhambi. Kipimamwendo kwenye gari haisababishi mtu kuendesha kwa kasi zaidi ya inavyo kubalika. Inaonyesha tu wakati mtu amekiuka hukumu nzuri au sheria zilizowekwa.

 

8. Ni nafsi ngapi zinazookolewa kwa sheria pekee? Warumi 8:3.

9. Wakati sheria inaonyesha dhambi, ni nini injili hutimiza? Warumi 1:16.

10. Tukishapokea injili, uhusiano wetu mpya na Elohim utakuwa upi? Yohana 1:12.

3. Huu ujumbe ni wa wakati wetu kufuatia kipindi cha ukiwa, au ni kwa muda katika siku zilizopita? Ezekieli 36:3.

5. Ahadi kwa milima ya Israeli kwa wakati huu, na siku za usoni ni zipi? Watu watamiliki nini kutoka kwa hiyo milima? Ezekieli 36: 8-10.

12. Mioyo yao itabadilishwa kutoka kwa mioyo migumu kama mawe wawekwe mioyo ya nyama kabla ya kukusanywa au ni baada ya kukusanywa? Ezekieli 36:24-27.

13. Ni vipi kuhusu baraka juu ya nchi katika kuifanya iwe na mazao, na hii itakuwa na athari juu ya watu katika kukumbuka dhambi zao, na matendo yao maovu? Ezekieli 36:30, 31

14. Katika siku ile wao watakuwa wanatakaswa maovu yao, kupitia kupokea Roho, watakuwa wakijenga mahali palipoharibiwa na miji ya kale, na nchi itafanana na bustani la Edeni? Ezekieli 36:33-36.

Aya ya Kukariri: Luka 6:19.

 

1. Ni kutoka miji gani watu walikusanyika pamoja? Luka 6:17.

 

FAHAMU:-  Walikuwa wametoka umbali wa maili 50 au zaidi, hii ilikuwa juhudi kubwa kwa sababu siku zile kutembea ilikuwa njia pekee ya usafiri.

2. Nini imesemwa kuhusu wagonjwa wote katika ule umati mkubwa wa watu? Luka 6:18, 19.

3. Jinsi gani Mwokozi alijiandaa kwa ajili ya mkusanyiko huu mkubwa? Luka 6:12.

4. Baada ya kushinda usiku katika maombi, mwili wake ulipata nguvu kutokana na nini? Luka 6:19.

5. Mtume Paulo pia alikuwa amejawa na wema huu wa nguvu za uponyaji? Matendo 19:11, 12.

6. Tukijua kwamba miujiza hii ya ajabu iliandikwa kwa ajili yetu, nini tumeamriwa kufanya? 1 Wakorintho 11:1.

7. Ili kufanya mambo haya yote leo, nini itakuwa muhimu? 1 Wakorintho 1:5; 2 Wakorintho 8:7.

8. Tukitajirika katika yeye, katika maarifa na maneno, matokeo yatakuwa yapi? 2 Wakorintho 8:7-14.

 

FAHAMU:-  Ni Shetani huwapotosha watu katika maongeo yao, na kusababisha wamtahayarishe mtu. Wakati unasema chochote ambacho si kweli kumhusu mtu, una hatia ya kutahayarisha (Zaburi 15:1-3.) Wakati tumetajirishwa na Bwana, tukitafuta Roho Mtakatifu, na kujitenga na waongeao mabaya, basi tutakuwa washiriki wa uwezo wa Bwana na kujazwa na uzuri wa kimbinguni.

 

9. Je, mtazamo wetu unapaswa kuwa upi dhidi ya maadui wetu na kwa wale hutuchukia na kutulaani? Luka 6:27,28.

10. Ikiwa mtu atakupiga ama kukutishia au kusema uongo kukuhusu wewe, utawafanyia kama walivyokufanyia? Luka 6:29-31.

11. Ni kwa njia gani mtumishi wa kweli atakuwa tofauti na watu wale wasiomcha Elohim ambao ni wa dunia? Luka 6:32-34.

12. Ni ahadi gani imetolewa kwa wale ambao wana mawazo sahihi na nia nzuri kwa maadui zao? Luka 6:35.

13. Ni vipi kuhusu kutoa kwa wanaohitaji, na kutoa kwa ajili ya kuendeleza injili? Luka 6:36-38.

1. Mwokozi alilaani mazoea gani mabaya? Mathayo 7:1-3.

2. Ni nini kwanza inafaa kufanyika kabla ya kujaribu kurekebisha wengine? Mathayo 7:4, 5; Mathayo 5:23, 24.

 

FAHAMU:-  Ni kwa kukosa Roho wa kweli na wa uvumilivu na upendo, huelekeza mtu kusisitiza makosa ya wengine, na kutengeneza mlima mkubwa kutokana na kichuguu cha fuko. Kulaumu na kutahayarisha wengine, kamwe ni mambo ambayo hayajawahi kuokoa nafsi iliopotoka, lakini huwasukuma wengi hata mbali zaidi. Roho wa huruma na kuonya kwa upole, na kwa siri na kwa muongozo wa rehema na upendo kwa yule aliye kosea, ndilo jambo linalomrejesha mtu katika njia nyembamba.

3. Ni nini imesisitizwa hapa kuhusu njia mbili za maisha, ambayo ni dhahiri leo? Mathayo 7:13, 14.

4. Kutakuwa na manabii wa uongo na walimu wa uongo katika siku za mwisho? Mat 7:15; 24:24.

5. Ni jinsi gani tutawatambua? Isaya 8:20; Mathayo 7:16, 17.

6. Wahubiri wa uongo hukiri imani katika Mwokozi, na wanaweza kufanya kazi nzuri katika jina lake. Mathayo 7:22.

7. Hatima yao itakuwa ipi katika siku ya hukumu? Mathayo 7:23.

8. Je, Yahshua anasema nini kuhusu wale watakao ingia katika ufalme? Mathayo 7:21.

9. Anawalinganisha na nini wale husikia na kutenda aliyoyanena? Mathayo 7:26, 27.

10. Wale husikia tu wanalinganishwa na nini? Mathayo 7:26, 27.

11. Kumwamini mwana tu bila kutii kutatufanya tupate chochote? Yakobo 2:19, 20; Yakobo 1:21, 22.

UKOMBOZI KUPITIA KUJITOA KWA ROHO

1. Kwa nini mabadiliko ni muhimu katika asili ya mwanadamu? Warumi 7:8, 9.

FAHAMU:-  Kuwa mwilini ina maanisha kuwa katika hali ya nyama na damu au katika hali ya asili ya mtu na matakwa yake.

2. Ni ushauri gani bora Hezekia aliwapa watu katika nyakati zake? 2 Mambo ya nyakati 30: 8.

3. Ni nini ubadilika ndani ya nafasi zetu wakati huwa tunajitolea kwa Baba? Warumi 6:13, 14.

4. Je, hii inamaanisha kuendelea katika dhambi? Warumi 6:15.

5. Kwa nini ni muhimu sana kwamba tujitolee kwa Muumba badala ya kujitolea kwa nguvu za uovu? Warumi 6:16; Mathayo 6:24.

6. Matokeo yatakuwa yapi tukijitoa kwake? Warumi 6:11; 1 Petro 2:24; Waebrania 9:14, 15.

7. Mwokozi alitoa ahadi gani nzuri kwa wale ambao wataenda kwake? Mathayo 11:28 na sehemu ya mwisho ya 29.

FAHAMU:-  Kama mtu atatafuta haki kwa bidii, basi ni lazima mtu ajivike haki ya Masihi, ni kwa njia hiyo mtu hufungua mlango na kumkaribisha Masihi aingie. Soma Ufunuo 3:20.

 

8. Kama mtu atajaribu kutegemea haki yake pekee, atafanya nini? Warumi 10:1-3; Isaya 64: 6.

9. Je, tutahofu kwamba mzigo utakuwa mkubwa sana? Mathayo 11:29, 30; 1 Petro 5:7.

10. Baada ya kupata njia ya kweli ya haki, maisha yetu yatakuwa na faida kwa Baba katika kuvuta nafsi za watu? Yohana 15:1, 2.

 MWOKOZI,  MFANYAKAZI WA MWENYEWE

Aya ya Kukariri: Yohana 4:22, 23.

 

1. Nani ambaye alikuja kwake Yahshua usiku? Yohana 3:1, 2.

2. Jinsi gani Yeye alitaja hitaji la nafsi kwa huyo mtawala, na ni haja gani muhimu ambayo yeye alisisitiza? Yohana 3:3-5.

3. Mwenye dhambi anaweza kujipa wokovu wake mwenyewe au yeye anahitaji msaada? Yeremia 13:23; Warumi 8:6-7.

 4. Ni kutoka wapi nguvu za kiroho na msaada hupatikana? Luka 11:9, 10.

5. Ni mfano gani hutumika kuonyesha utayari wa Baba kutupea msaada wakati wa tunapohitaji? Luka 11:11-13.

6. Ni wapi ambapo Bwana alisimama wakati alipokuwa akipitia Samaria? Yohana 4:4-7.

FAHAMU:-  Wakati Mwokozi alipokuwa akielekea Galilaya, maili 100 kaskazini mwa Yerusalemu, alisimama Samaria katika bonde nzuri linaloelekea mashariki kwenye mto Yordani. Hapa alipata kisima cha Yakobo, ambapo aliketi chini kupumzika kwa kuwa alikuwa amechoka sana. Kunauwezekano kuwa alikuwa amedhoofika na mwenye kiu baada ya safari ndefu.

 

7. Jinsi gani Mwokozi alianzisha mazungumzo na mwanamke kisimani? Mstari wa 7.

8. Jinsi gani mwanamke alimpokelea, na ni nini kile kilichoonekana kuwa kwa wingi kwenye moyo wake? Yohana 4:8, 9.

9. Jinsi gani Yahshua aliyageuza mazungumzo ili kumpa mahitaji yake ya kiroho? Yohana 4:10-14.

FAHAMU:-  Huu ni mfano bora tunaofaa kufuata. Kwa nyakati zote tunapaswa kuyageuza mazungumzo yetu ili kuwapa msaada wa kiroho na wa mahitaji ya uzima wa milele  wale tunao kutana nao

10. Jinsi gani Yahshua alithibitisha kwa mwanamke huyu kwamba alikuwa tofauti na mtu wa kawaida? Yohana 4:16-18.

FAHAMU:-  Ingawa hatuna uwezo wa kuwaambia watu kuhusu maisha yao kama Masihi alivyokuwa, tunaweza kuwaambia kuhusu hali ya ulimwengu. Hali ambayo kwa kimiujiza inatimiza maneno ya manabii wa kale.

11. Yahshua alisema nini kwa mwanamke huyu kuhusu wokovu? Jinsi gani yeye alieleza kuhusu ibada ambayo hukubalika? Yohana 4:22-24.

12. Je, huyo mwanamke alisema nini kuhusu Masihi? Yahshua alifanya tangazo gani? Yohana 4:25, 26.

13. Wakati wanafunzi wa Masihi, ambao walikuwa wameendea chakula, waliporudi kwenye eneo la tukio na kumpa chakula, jibu lake lilikuwa lipi? Yohana 4:31-34.

14. Mwanamke huyo alifanya nini na nini ilikuwa matokeo ya ushuhudiaji binafsi wa Mwokozi? Huu ni mfano kwa ajili yetu? Yohana 4:25-30; 35-42.

KUITWA KWA SABABU YA KAZI MAALUM NA KWA WAKATI MAALUM

Somo la Maandiko:- Ufunuo 16.

Aya ya Kukariri: Ufunuo 16: 1.

1. Ni juu ya nani ambaye pigo la kwanza kati ya yale mapigo saba ya mwisho lilimwagiwa? Ufunuo 14:9, 18: 4.

2. Ni ishara gani mbili zimepeanwa kwa wakati huu maalum wa maandalizi? Nahumu 2:3.

3. Kumekuwa na jumbe tatu kwa duniani yote ambazo zilitumwa tangu mwanzo wa injili. Ni nini na ni wakati upi ujumbe wa kwanza umetolewa? Ufunuo 14: 6.

 

FAHAMU:-  Huu ulikuwa ujumbe ulioenezwa siku za Mitume, kwa ulimwengu wa waabudu wa sanamu, ili kuharibu sanamu zao na wamwabudu yeye aliyeziumba mbingu na nchi. Ilikuwa pia wakati wa hukumu kwa taifa la Wayahudi (Luka 21:24), na juu ya mkuu wa ulimwengu huu.

4. Ni nini imesemwa kuhusu wakati wa hukumu ambayo ilikuwa sehemu ya ujumbe wa kwanza kwa dunia yote? 1 Petro 4:17; Yohana 16:7-11; 12:31.

5. Ni nini asili ya ujumbe wa malaika wa pili? Ufunuo 14: 8.

6. Ni nini asili ya ujumbe wa malaika wa tatu, na ni juu ya nani hasa umeelekezwa moja kwa moja? Ufunuo14:9, 10.

7. Je, ni tukio gani linalofuata ujumbe huu? Kuna ujumbe mwingine bado utapeanwa, au ni wakati wa mfalme kuja na kutawala? Ufunuo 14:14-16.

8. Je, Ufunuo 15:1 pia inatuambia nini kuhusu mapigo haya ya mwisho?

 

FAHAMU:-  Ujumbe wa kumtambua mnyama, na kutoa tahadhari hii, ni “chakula wakati unaofaa”. Ni ujumbe huu ambao umefika wakati wake katika ulimwengu kwa wakati huu maalum.

Kuitwa  KWA WATUMISHI NA KUGAWANYIWA KARAMA

Somo la Maandiko:- Mat 25: 14-46.

Aya ya Kukariri: Mathayo 25: 19.

 

1. Ni kwa nini ufalme wa Mbinguni unalinganishwa na ni nani ambaye alitembea kwenda nchi ya mbali? Mathayo 25: 14.

FAHAMU:-  Masihi bado anaita watumishi kufanya kazi yake.

2. Ni nini imesemwa kuhusu usambazaji wa talanta, au karama kwa ajili ya kuongeza kundi, na kuzivuta nafsi za watu? Mathayo 25: 15.

3. Ni nini mtumishi alifanya yule ambaye alipokea idadi kubwa ya talanta? Mathayo 25: 16, 17.

4. Ni nini mtumishi alifanya yule ambaye aliyeipokea talanta moja? Mathayo 25: 18.

5. Nini kinachotokea baada ya muda mrefu? Mathayo 25: 19.

6. Je, ni tuzo lipi kwa wale ambao hutumia sahihi talanta walizopokea, na kuziongeza kwa ajili ya kuzivuta nafsi? Mathayo 25:20-23.

7. Je, ni zawadi gani aliyopewa mtumishi ambaye alificha talanta yake katika ardhi, kutokuwa na ongezeko lolote katika maisha yake kwa ajili ya utukufu wa Elohim? Mathayo 25: 24-28.

8. Badala ya kuingia katika ufalme, ni nini itasemwa kwa mtumishi asiye na faida ambaye huficha maisha yake yote katika dunia hii ya kale? Mathayo 25: 29-30.

FAHAMU:-  Hivi ndivyo mamilioni wanafanya leo, kuishi kwa ajili yao wenyewe, na kuzikwa ndani kabisa katika mambo ya dunia. Wanatafuta pesa, mali, na raha, kuabudu fedha pekee na kile ambacho inaweza kuwapa.  Mwisraeli wa kweli sivyo alivyo. Yeye anatengeneza talanta yake na kuishi maisha kwa ajili ya kuongeza kwa ufalme, kutoa zaka na sadaka, na pia kuishi katika utiifu na upendo, na kujitenga na ulimwengu.

9. Katika kufuata hatua za Mwokozi wetu, ni mambo ya nani yatakayotuhusu sisi zaidi? Luka 2:49.

10. Kuna kitu cha thamani zaidi kuliko chakula kwa ajili ya mwili na mavazi, ni nini lazima itabaki kwanza kabisa katika kila mioyo ? Luka 12:23-32.

11. Ni nini kitatokea daima kwa maisha ya kiroho ya mtu asiye na faida ambaye huficha talanta yake, na kushindwa kutoa mazao? Luka 13:6-9.

12. Ni nini daima itatokea kwa mtu ambaye huweka katika akiba kwa ajili yake mwenyewe, na kuzika talanta yake katika ardhi, na si tajiri kwake Elohim? Luka 12:16-21.

MALAIKA WA MBINGUNI

1. Ni uumbaji upi wa viumbe ambao ni sawa na mwanadamu, hali yetu ikilinganishwa na wao ni ipi? Zaburi 8:3-5.

2. Kusudi lao na huduma yoa katika uumbaji ilikuwa ipi? Zaburi 34: 7; Waebrania 1:13, 14.

3. Je, Muumba analo fikira kuwa mwanadamu ni wa familia moja kama malaika? Waefeso 3:14, 15; Ufunuo22:8, 9.

4. Je, familia hii ina jina sawa na ni jina gani? 1 Wakorintho 15:9; 1 Wathesalonike 2:14.

5. Ni nini imesemwa kuhusu malaika wa Mbinguni kuhusu amri? Zaburi 103: 20.

6. Ni kwa njia gani wajumbe hawa wa Mbinguni huitwa kwa msaada wetu? Mathayo 26:53.

7. Wakati Petro alikuwa amefungwa kwa minyororo miwili gerezani, jinsi gani alifanywa kuwa huru? Matendo ya Mitume 12:7-10.

8. Ni kupitia kwa maombi ya nani yeye alipata kusaidiwa? Mstari wa 5.

9. Jinsi gani inawezekana kwa haraka kwake Mwenyezi Elohim kusikia maombi yetu, na kuyajibu? Danieli 9:21.

FAHAMU:-  Malaika huitwa kwa msaada wetu wakati tunapoomba. Maombi ni kiunganishi kinachotuunganisha na kutupea nguvu ya kimbinguni;  ni lazima tuishi maisha ya ushindi.

10. Ni uhusiano gani muhimu upo kati ya mtu na malaika, unaohusu uelewaji wa maandiko? Danieli 9:22.

11. Katika maumivu makuu ya Gethsemane, jinsi gani Baba wa Mbinguni alipeana msaada wa wake katika saa hii ya shida? Luka 22:43.

12. Jinsi gani tutapata msaada wa kiroho? Mathayo 7:7,8.

13. Malaika wa Mbinguni wana nia katika masuala ya binadamu? Luka 15:10.

2. Ni ahadi gani ipi ilifanywa kwa uzao wa Ibrahimu, na ni kwa nini? Mwanzo 22:17, 18; Mwanzo 26: 4, 5.

3. Ni kwa umbali gani Baraka za Ibrahimu zilikuwa zifikie, na wengine pia walikuwa wabarikiwe kupitia uzao wake? Mwanzo 12:2.

4. Je, Muumba anasema nini zaidi kuhusu familia hii? Isaya 61:3.

5. Baba alitarajia baraka kuchipuka na kukua? Isaya 61:11.

6. Israeli kwa wakati wote walikuwa waminifu kwa tumaini lililotolewa kwao? Yeremia 2:21, 22.

7. Je, Yeye bado alitoa wito kwa uzao wake mteule kurudi kwake kwa njia ya kiroho na kutubu? Yeremia 4:1-4.

8. Je, walitubu na matokeo yalikuwa yapi? Yeremia 5:11-15; Ezekieli 22:19-22.

FAHAMU:-  Unabii huu ulitimia kwa njia ya kusikitisha baada ya kurejeshwa kwa Waisraeli mara ya kwanza, na kujengwa kwa hekalu ya pili. Ni uharibifu huu Mwokozi wetu pia alitangaza. Tito jenerali wa Kirumi katika mwaka wa 70 A.D aliuzingira na kuuteka mji wa Yerusalemu.

9. Je, yeye bado ana kusudi la kuhifadhi uzao wa Israeli? Isaya 49: 8: 48:10-12.

10. Ni ahadi gani nyingine inaonyesha kwamba anaongoza Israeli, uzao wake mteule? Isaya 59:20, 21; na Yeremia 31:35, 37.

11. Je, Bwana aliahidi kuwakusanya tena Israeli katika nchi ya ahadi kwa mara ya pili? Isaya 11:11-13.

12. Petro alisema nini? Kwa mujibu wa Mtume Petro, jinsi gani mataifa watabarikiwa kupitia familia hii teule? Matendo 3:22-25.

13. Wakati mataifa watakuja kupigana na Yerusalemu, nani ambao watakuwa wakiishi huko? Ezekieli 38:16.

Fahamu: Wengi huona kuwa ni vigumu kuishi maisha ya Umasihi. Sababu ni, ingawa wamepatanishwa na dhambi zao kusamehewa, mawazo yao hayajabadilishwa kwa mambo ya kiroho. Upendo kwa raha za ulimwengu na anasa yake bado inawashika.

1. Jadili na ukadilie ni vipi nyumba ya Eli ilivyofaa kuadhirika kwa kukataliwa na mbingu. 1 Samuel 2:27-31

2. Ni nini kilisababisha wazazi watu wa kwanza wakataliwe? Mwanzo 3: 11-12; 4:7, wao pamoja na vizazi vyao waliadhilika vipi? Mwanzo 3: 10, 16.

3. Ardhi na wanadamu wariadhilika vipi kutokana na matokeo ya hukumu ya dhambi?  Mwanzo 3: 17-19, 23; 4:11-13

11. Imesemwaje kuhusu kizazi kisicho tii wala kupokea marudio? Jeremia 7:28-30

12. Mambo hayo yote yalitendwa na watu wastahifu, kuna uwezekano yapatikane katikati yetu? Wanao kaidi mapenzi ya mbinguni ni lazima watarajie nini? 1 Wakorintho 5: 1-2, Hosea 4:6-10
