A SACRED ORDINANCE
Scripture Reading: Genesis 2:18-25.
Memory Verse: Matthew 19:5.
1. After the good Lord had created man and
provided him with perfect surroundings, what
did He feel was needed to complete his
happiness?Genesis 2:18, and Verses 21-23.
Note: Elohim instituted the first marriage,
Thus the institution has for its originator the
Creator of the universe. It was one of the first
gifts of Elohim to man, and it is one of the two
institutions that after the fall, Adam brought
with him beyond the gate of Paradise. When
the Divine Principles are recognized and
obeyed in this relationship, marriage is
a blessing; it guards the purity and the
happiness of the human race; provides for
mans social needs; and elevates the
physical, the intellectual, and the moral
nature.
2. For what purpose besides companionship was
the first union ordained? Genesis 1:28.
3. Was the ordinance of marriage carried into the
New Testament era? Matthew 19:4,5;
Ephesians 5:31.
Note: The family tie is the closest, most
sacred, and the most tender tie on earth. It was
designed to be a blessing to mankind. It is a
blessing indeed wherever the marriage
covenant is entered into intelligently, in the
fear of Elohim, and with due consideration
for its responsibilities.

5. In what honor, therefore, should the marriage

THE FIFTH COMMANDMENT

a family altar, it is the parents’ duty to see that

THE GOLDEN RULE
Scripture reading: Luke 6:17-38.
Memory verse: Matthew 7:12.
1. What did Elohim, through Moses, give to His
people to obey? Deuteronomy 4:40 (first part).
2. Were these commandments given just to show
God’s authority over man, or would man be
benefited by keeping them? Deuteronomy 4:40
(last part).
3. If all men had obeyed the commandments of
Elohim, would there be war today? Isaiah
48:17, 18.
4. Some people pick out certain commandments
and say that they are greater than others. What
question was Yahshua once asked concerning
this?Matthew 22:36.
5. What answer did Yahshua give the lawyer?
Did He say that any certain commandments

6. Yahshua said that He gave us a new
commandment. Is it any different from the

THE VICTORIOUS LIFE THE
HUMILITY OF THE SAVIOUR AND
HIS CHILDREN
Scripture Reading: Matthew 18:1-20.

1. In coming to the earth, what example of humility
did the Saviour set? Luke 2:11,12,16.
2. What prophetic fulfillment do we have of His
humility? Zechariah 9:9; Matthew 21:1-11.
3. To what else did the Saviour humble Himself?

4. What did the disciples want to know of the
Saviour? Matthew 18:1.
5. Whom did He set as a model for them?
Matthew 18:2-4.
Note: “Converted and become” - There are
some who are truly converted, and yet are not
humble. Many believers are found in this
category. One may appear to be humble until
there is an issue involved that demands
submission, then he rebels against authority;
this often causes divisions.
6. How does Paul further interpret the meaning of
the word “children”? 1 Corinthians 14:20.
7. What will the quality of “children in malice” lead
us to do? Matthew 5:43-45.
8. If we are “children of malice”, what degree of
perfection will we be lead to? Matthew 5:46-
48.
9. Upon what did the Saviour say our forgiveness

10. How many times should our humility lead us to

Note: Unforgiveness, malice, anger and so on
hinder a believer’s growth and development
just as diseases do the physical body. It takes a
humble heart in which the Saviour dwells to
forgive and forget.
11. If we receive the honor that awaits us, what trait
must we first possess? Proverbs 15:33.
12. What are the products of humility and fear of
the Lord? Proverbs 22:4.

FORGIVING ONE ANOTHER
Scripture Reading: Matt. 18th Chapter.
Memory Verse: Matt. 6:15.
1. What is necessary for us to do in order to
receive forgiveness of our sins? Mark 11:25.
2. Will Elohim pardon those who do not forgive
their fellow men? Matt. 6:15; Mark 11:26,
Matt. 18:21-22.
Note. Elohim is not satisfied with lip service or
mere formality. We must forgive from the heart,
and when we do then will also forget, and we
will cease to dwell upon the sins which have
been forgiven. Some when pretending to
forgive say: “I can forgive but I cannot forget
them”. They hold a grudge.
3. In what condition must our heart be in order
that we might receive forgiveness? Matt. 6:12.
4. Did Elohim forbid grudging? Lev. 19:18.
5. What does the New Testament say about
grudging? James 5:9; Matt. 6:12-24.
Note. — Jealousy is a predominant sin of
the age, now even as it was in the time when
Joseph’s brethren became jealous of himbecause of his parents love and extra
kindness, and also because Elohim favored
him and gave him dreams about things would
soon come to pass; therefore they mistreated
him and sold unto strangers for a slave.
6. How did Joseph the man of Elohim forgive his
brethren? Gen. 45:15.
7. In dealing with the erring, what feelings should
actuate us? Matt. 18:33.
8. What may those expect who fail to show
mercy to others? James 2:13.
9. In the parable of Matthew 18, what happened
to the servant who owed a large sum? Matt.

THE VICTORIOUS LIFE
Note: Many say that perfection is too high a standard
to reach, that it is impossible to attain. There are,
however, many examples in the Bible of people who
lived according to the will of Elohim. In Messiah
Yahshua all is possible. “I can do all things through
Messiah which strengtheneth me,” was the
testimony of one who walked with Elohim.
Philippians 4:13. The victorious life comes as a
result of constant resistance to the temptations of the
devil. Messiah met every temptation with a
Scriptural answer in His resistance to Satan in the
wilderness. Following His example we should be
guided by Biblical standards in our wresting against
spiritual wickedness in high places.

necessity be a foundation and a place upon
which it rests. In this building of Elohim we
have Yahshua, the Apostles, and the prophets
for the foundation, who are laid upon Elohim,
the solid Rock.

Note. — This building which represents
the Church is the place where Elohim
through His Holy Spirit dwells, John

ARE THE PEOPLE RETURNING
TO THE
HOLY LAND REALLY JEWS?
