MESSIAH’S OBEDIENCE TO ELOHIM - MESSIAH’S SUFFERING FOR OUR SALVATION
Scripture reading: Isaiah 53.

1. To what is Messiah likened in growing up? Isaiah 53:2.
2. What did the people who walked in darkness see? Isaiah 9:2.
3. What nature did Yahshua take on Himself when He came to earth to redeem His people? Hebrews 2: 16.
4. Whom did He wish to be made like? Verse 17, 18.
5. Why was He called Yahshua? Matthew 1:21.

Note. - Messiah, our great example, went away doing good, and suffered much hardship for us, ill treatment, even death, but He conquered death and ascended into Heaven, and is making intercession for us at the right hand of Elohim the Father. Let us be willing to work for Him in helping to win precious souls for His eternal Kingdom, and suffer for Him, even unto death if need be.

MY BODY IS MEAT INDEED, AND MY BLOOD IS DRINKINDEED
Scripture Reading: St. John 6:22-71.
Memory Verse: St. John 6:54
1. Where did Yahshua go after feeding the five thousand? St. John 6:24-25.
2. Why were the multitude, seeking Yahshua? St. John 6:26.
3. What did Yahshua tell them about meat? From where did He say this meat could be obtained? St. John 6:27.
4. Does it appear that the multitude thought they had this bread from Heaven? How did Yahshua reply? St. John 6:31-35.
5. How did the Jews respond to this statement which Yahshua made? St. John 6:42.
6. How did Yahshua reply to their murmurings? St. John 6:48, 50, 51, 53-58.
7. When Yahshua introduced the Lord’s Supper, what did He say the unleavened Bread represented? St. Luke 22:19, St. Matt. 26:26. Compare with St. John 6:51, 53.
Note. — While Yahshua and His disciples were eating the Passover, Yahshua took bread, blessed it and said, take eat this is my body. This unleavened bread represented His Body. The eating of the Passover lamb now was forever in the past. The Passover had become history. Yahshua was introducing the Lord’s Supper.
8. After partaking of the unleavened bread what did Yahshua do? St. Luke 22:20; St. Matt. 26:27.
9. What did Yahshua say that the drink which was in the cup represented? St. Mark 14:24; St. Matt. 26:28; St. Luke 22:20. Compare with St. John 6:53, 54.
10. What did the cup which Yahshua gave His disciples contain? St. Mark 14:25; St. Matt. 26:29.
Note. — The gospels of St. Mark, St. Luke and St. Matt, tell us that the cup which Yahshua blessed contained the fruit of the vine. This was the pure blood of the grapes, which represents the precious Blood of Yahshua. Please see Deut. 32:14, last part. Note the contents of this cup was not fermented wine, nor water, but the blood of the grapes, fruit of the vine.
11. Is it scriptural to refer to the Lord’s Supper as communion? 1 Cor. 10:16.
Note. — Paul in writing to the church of Elohim at Corinth about the Lord’s Supper which Yahshua introduced while they were eating the Passover, just before His cruel trial refers to it as the Lord’s Supper, or communion.
12. Was Judas present and did he partake of the Lord’s Supper? St. Luke 22:21; St. John 13:18.
13. What must each soul do before partaking of The Lord’s Supper? If we fail what will be the sad consequences? 1 Cor. 11:27-30.

THE SUFFERING OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR YAHSHUA MESSIAH

THE WORLD’S GREATEST MISSIONARY
Scripture reading: John 15:1-19,

We can all be missionaries in paying our tithes to publish the message of salvation.

LIVING FOR YAHSHUA AND FAITHFULNESS IN STEWARDSHIP
Scripture reading: Matthew 25:14-30.
Memory verse: John 15:2.
1. What was Messiah’s reason for coming down to earth? Luke 19:10.
2. What did Peter say about the Lord’s mission? 1Peter 2:21.
3. With what loving words are we told to follow His example? Matt. 16:24-26.
4. Is there a great reward for being a faithful steward? V. 27.
Note. — There are more ways-of giving one’s life than giving it in death as a martyr. One can
also lose his life in service for the Lord Yahshua Messiah.
5. What is the Bible definition of a tithe? Lev. 27:30-32.
6. To whom does the tithe belong? Verse 30.
7. What are we in the Lord’s sight if we fail to pay that which is due Him? Mal. 3:8.
8. What will be the terrible punishment which will come upon the unprofitable servant? Matt. 25:30.
Note. — Therefore it is very important to live close to the Lord in prayer in order to be sure of paying tithes where they will be profitable to Him and the true cause for which the Lord Yahshua died. There are many deceivers and false teachers who we would not want to support. Matt. 24:24; 2 Tim. 3:13.
9. What are some outstanding examples in the Old Testament of tithe paying? Gen. 14:18-20; Gen. 28:20-22.
10. Did Messiah sanction tithe paying? Matt. 23:23; 22:15-21.
11. Are offerings also required of us? Mal. 3:8, last part.
Note. — We actually do not give the Lord anything in paying tithes, for the tenth of our income is His. He says it belongs to Him. He created the heavens and the earth. Naturally the earth and all that which is on it belongs to Him. See Psalms 24:1 and 50:10. He upholds and sustains it. Heb. 1:3.
12. The tithe which is holy unto the Lord actually provides us with another pair of feet to go forth with the gospel of salvation as our Savior would do if He were actually here on earth again as a man. It gives us a part in preaching the message of salvation unto all the world, to which work He has called every person baptized and redeemed from the world.

THE SUPREME OBJECT IN LIVING

THE TENTH COMMANDMENT

4. Often people refer to the Ten Commandment law as being carnal; but how does the Word of the Lord refer to the Holy Commandments? Rom. 7:12-14.

RESISTING SATAN
Scripture reading: James chapter 4.

Note. — In the foregoing scriptures we see that the devil is no respecter of persons, he tempts everyone. Our daily prayer should be that Elohim would grant us power to resist the devil, then and only then will he flee from us. — James 4:7.
5. What can we do that will help us from certain temptations? Psa. 1:2; Prov. 4:14.
